Tracy Boemmel Promoted to Accounting and Office Administrator!

CARA is thrilled to announce the promotion of Tracy Boemmel to Accounting and Office Administrator! Tracy has supported CARA in the Accounting Department since she joined as an Accounting Associate in 2018. In 2020, Tracy was instrumental in ensuring CARA’s successful physical office move as well as the transition and adoption of MS Teams.

Tracy, in addition to her accounting responsibilities, will expand her focus to include account and office management in various capacities to ensure we continue to provide our clients and consultants with unparalleled service.

Tracy’s positive attitude and problem-solving skills are key to excelling in this new, multi-tasking role. She is excited to continue to change, learn, and grow as she supports the CARA Team.

Gina LePore Promoted to Accounting Operations Manager!

CARA is thrilled to announce the promotion of Gina LePore to Accounting Operations Manager! Gina has supported CARA in various roles in the Accounting Department since she joined as an Accounting Associate in 2013.

Gina will ensure the digital transformation of our accounting systems and oversee team members to ensure we provide our clients and consultants with unparalleled service.

Gina has a passion for thinking outside of the box to improve internal processes and her accounting management skills are showcased in her ability to solve problems and create solutions.

 

Announcing Our 2021 Dan King Scholarship Recipients

We are pleased to announce the 2021 Dan King Scholarship Recipients: Johanna Dillon and Babette Novak. CARA’s co-founder, Dan King, was a lifelong learner who believed in human potential – it is why he started this business. In honor of Dan, CARA provides annual scholarships to eligible consultants who have demonstrated a commitment to CARA and their own continuous learning.

Johanna Dillon

Johanna has been a steadfast Organizational Change Management consultant with CARA for over three years and has worked with multiple CARA clients. Recently, Johanna presented at the ACMP Midwest Learning & Professional Development webinar and has represented CARA at multiple industry association events. She has been an integral part of our success for the last two years with a F500 chemical distribution company supporting a business system migration. Clients describe Johanna as accountable, articulate, and dedicated. She plans to use her scholarship to acquire a CCMP Certification through ACMP Midwest and supporting materials.

Babette Novak

For nearly 10 years, Babette has been a devoted Instructional Design consultant with CARA. She has integrated project management into several projects throughout her career and plans to use her scholarship funds to formalize her work with a Project Management Certification. Babette has committed herself to change and learning through her connections with various industry associations, Training Magazine Network, HR Hot Seal, and more. She has continuously committed to keeping her skills relevant and at the forefront of trends. Clients and peers have described her work as great to work with, thorough, and dynamic.

We Are Thrilled to Welcome Louann Swedberg and Kate Robertson to CARA!

The CARA Group is pleased to announce the hiring of two new Engagement Managers: Louann Swedberg and Kate Robertson, effective March, 2021. Louann and Kate will report to Nicole Chiscon, Engagement Director. In their respective roles, Louann will focus on learning while Kate will focus on organizational change management.

“I am thrilled to have both Louann and Kate on the team”, said Nicole, “as they will help us continue on our journey designing, managing, and delivering best-in-class solutions.”

Louann Swedberg

Louann is a learning professional with over 25 years of business experience in a variety of industries and roles. In the learning and development field, she has supported design, development, and consulting projects that produce comprehensive solutions such as curriculum design, eLearning, instructor-led training, performance support materials, and blended learning programs. She has served in the roles of senior instructional designer, team lead, client relationship manager, and learning solutions architect for global F1000 clients.

Louann is no stranger to CARA, having previously worked with CARA as a Lead Instructional Designer.

Kate Robertson

Kate is a Certified Change Management Professional (CCMP) and has over eight years of experience in consulting, delivering value-added technology, process, and people solutions within 10 different industries. Her primary area of expertise is in the planning and execution of change management solutions for complex technology implementations and process redesigns. She is passionate about meeting new people, discovering their unique interests and talents, and helping them grow and develop.
